Samsung TV

If you are in the market for a new television, it would be well worth your while to look at the Samsung TV line-up. Samsung make a large range of televisions, including the Samsung LCD TV line, Samsung LED TV models, and the Samsung Plasma TV line. Samsung are well known worldwide for their great line of televisions, and their pricing system makes most of the lower end models easily affordable for the average home theatre setup.
A Samsung LED TV is an LCD television that uses LED backlighting rather than the type of lighting used in regular LCD televisions, which is florescent lighting. Differences between the two types that make the LED TV superior to the LCD TV include features such as the ability to produce images on screen with greater dynamic contrast. They also display a wider range of onscreen colors that enhance the viewing enjoyment. If using the edge-LED lighting, the television itself can be extremely slim with current models a modest one-inch thick. Samsung LED TVs are still, unfortunately, a little out of the price-range of most people.
Possibly, you are not quite able to afford the Samsung LED TV yet. As an alternative, the Samsung LCD TV is also a very good choice of Samsung TV. Samsung sells some of the best LCD TVs currently on the market, and for a reasonable price. Sizes range anywhere from 37 to 52 inch screens, and resolution ranges from 720 pixels for the cheaper models all the way up to 1080 pixels for the Samsung LCD TV Series 6.
Samsung Plasma TV or Samsung LCD TV?
If you are having difficulty choosing which Samsung TV to purchase, and you are not sure whether to go with a Samsung plasma TV or Samsung LCD TV, both of which are comparably priced these days, there are a few considerations that may help you make your decision. Typically, a Samsung plasma TV will give you better picture quality when viewing of an evening or in normal to low lit rooms. LCD TVs, however, are better for well-lit living rooms or for viewing in a brightly lit room during the day. On the other hand, however, a Samsung LCD TV will give you a steadier picture and they tend to handle computer input much better.
People seldom choose a television based solely on price alone, but if that is a major deal-breaker for you, you may want to purchase a Samsung Plasma TV. The picture is excellent for the price, especially if you are going for the larger screen models. Although, if electricity usage is a concern for your home you may want to consider going with the LCD version of the Samsung TV instead as LCD screens really do consume much less electricity than the Plasma models.

When preparing to buy your new Samsung TV you might considering checking them out personally by visiting a local store that sells Samsung TVs. The main reason for this suggestion is that you will be able to actually view the display on the TV and choose between different models. You can also ask questions about the different models and the pros and cons of each type. Then, once you have made your decision, it is a simple step to compare prices online and purchase from an online store if that is your preference. Pricing is usually much more competitive amongst online retailers, and as long as you make sure that there is a return policy should the item be defective and that you can be covered by a warranty, you should have little problem with making your actual purchase conveniently online.
