Obviously you can save a lot of money if you don't have a problem with skimping on the size of the office. Small office space for rent is fine if it's just you and one other person, but if you employee a few people, or need machinery to run your business, then you are going to need a whole lot more space than that. For example, if you are a screen printer, then you are going to need room for all the equipment that goes along with that.

Sharing office space can be a real money saver, and still give you the freedom of having a true place of business. If you are considering sharing, then you will need to set down some solid ground rules before commencing, including each persons responsibilities and share of rental payments.
