Over the last few years, Himalayan Goji Juice has become extremely popular amongst the rich and famous, as well as the general public. There have been some wild and wonderful claims made about his mysterious juice, and it can be hard to distinguish between the fact and the hype.

Himalayan Goji Juice is made from the Goji Berry. The Goji Berry is a small red berry that originated in Himalaya and Tibet. It is beleived that Tibetan Monks first discovered this little red fruit thousands of years ago, and have been using it ever since to help them on their path to enlightenment. From there it was taken by other Asian travellers and cultivated in their own country. The Goji Berry grows in clusters on a vine, similar to the grape. It is also known as the "Wolfberry" or the "Red Diamond Fruit", and its scientific name is Lycium Barbarum Polysaccharides. Because it has become so popular, there are now over 41 different varieties of this berry, however the most popular and sought after is still the original Himalayan Goji Berry. The chinese varieties tend to have a more bitter flavour, and the original Himalayan breeds are plumper and sweeter. This is thought to be because of the optimal growing conditions that the berry needs in the Himalayas.

The berry itself has some remarkable properties. It has 15 different amino acids (8 of which are essential to the human body), and contains over 20 trace minerals, including (but not limited to) zinc, calcium and phosphorous. Another amazing thing about this berry is that it contains high levels of vitamin E, which is highly unusual to be found in a fruit of any kind. Finally, Himalyan Goji Juice contains more than 500 times the vitamin C of a normal orange. How amazing is that?

The benefits of Himalayan Goji Juice are so many that it is difficult to list them all in one article, maybe that's why there are so many websites out there dedicated to this amazing juice. For starters, it is claimed that Himalayan Goji Juice has remarkable anti-agin properties - some people even refer to it as the "fountain of youth". It will also help you to increase your focus, which can be incredibly helpful for students and for people in high demand jobs. In this day and age it seems that more and more demands are being placed on our minds and our bodies. People are expecting us to give amazing results with little or no rest. If you believe what the fans of this juice tell you, it will help in these situations. They say Himalayan Goji Juice will give you a lot more energy and make you feel less fatigued. At the same time, it is remarked that this juice will give you a feeling of calm and help you to sleep better.

Himalayan Goji Juice - The Hype

Top all this off with the fact that people claim this juice will strengthen your heart, assist with weight loss, and has cancer fighting properties like antioxidants and selenium, and it's no wonder that it has become such a popular product. The only problem is, it is extremely expensive, and this is mainly because there are only a few places in the world where it can be grown, which means there is always only a limited supply. For people who are trying to lose weight quick, this can turn into quite a costly affair.

For the last few years, Himalayan Gojiu Juice has been hyped up by media claims and famous endorsements. In 2006 Times Magazine ran an article on it, calling it the "Superberry of the Year". In 2007 Oprah had Dr Mehnet on her hugely popular television show, who recommended Himalayan Goji Juice to the Chicago Bulls to help them improve their game. Of course, this caused a huge wave of demand for the juice, and it was further pushed along by stories of famous people like Liz Hurley and Madonna claiming it's benefits. The end result is that Himalayan Goji Juice now has a cult like following, there are literally thousands of websites out there that are acting as resellers. So if you are wanting to try some of this juice, it shouldn't be too hard to find, but be prepared to spend a fortune getting it.

As with anything of this stature, it is important that you go into it with an open mind. If only one tenth of the claims of this juice are true, then it would still be worthwhile pursuing, but you should always check with family and friends to see if they have had any experience with the juice. Also, if you have an ailment that you are hoping to cure by taking this juice, make sure that you have made an appointment to see your doctor and discuss more conventional cures before relying on this wonder juice to save your life.
